Support to find your way

Relational, humanistic, and embodied therapy

Hi, I'm Lou

I offer individual therapy for adults, grounded in a humanistic and relational approach. I offer sessions both online and in-person in the Clapham, Brixton or Shoreditch areas of London.

I believe therapy can be a space to explore together what might be getting in the way of living a life that feels more peaceful, authentic and fulfilling to you. I support people struggling with feeling anxious, low, burnt out, stuck, or overwhelmed, or are going through a major life transition or stressor. Together we can unpack what is no longer working for you and what support you need to move forward.

Research consistently shows that the relationship between therapist and client is at the core of healing. Finding the right therapist for you is important, but can also feel daunting. Please get in touch with me to explore any questions that might help you navigate this process.

Areas I support with

Maybe you just know things are not working for you in your life as is, but are not sure how to even begin to describe your experience. Or you might have clear goals about what you would like to change, and would like support with a specific issue causing you suffering. Perhaps you are bringing something you have felt alone with your whole life. Or you might be frustrated with yourself or feeling stuck in familiar patterns. These are all good reasons to seek out therapy.

Though my training supports me to work with people with many different presenting issues, below are a few areas I commonly support.

  • Stress (work-related or other)

  • Difficulty expressing what you need

  • Anxiety or worry

  • Blocks in creativity

  • Feeling disconnected from others, isolation

  • Relationship issues (relationships of all kinds)

  • Self-criticism and self-doubt

  • People-pleasing

  • Shame

  • Perfectionism

  • Low self-esteem, feeling you don't like yourself

  • Life transitions

  • Difficulty connecting with your body or feelings
